DESCRIPTION:We know that that liberation of all of us will not happen until Black womxn are free.  The purpose of Rest Is… to embody the theories of today’s Black Feminists such as dr. yaba blay\, Tricia Hersey\, Sonya Renee Taylor and adrienne maree brown in stating that rest is not only resistance\, but rest\, for Black womxn\, girls and femmes\, IS revolution.  This inaugural event will offer space for us to teach\, learn\, model and practice how we rest in our work. Upon our return\, it is our contention that we will be equipped to translate\, code and decode our experiences and learnings into our professional spaces.  Like our foremothers have taught us\, we must position ourselves to give from our overflow.  Rest Is…seeks to position us to do just that.\n\nRETREAT STAY \nOCTOBER 26-31\, 2023 \n\n\n\n\nGround transportation provided from Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport  \n\n\nSingle or Double accommodations \n\n\nVegan\, farm to table breakfast\, lunch\, dinner and snacks \n\n\nMorning relaxation (guided meditation; yoga) \n\n\nEvening release rituals (cocoa ceremony; ancestral veneration)  \n\n\nDaily schedule released soon!  \n\n\n\n\nRETREAT COSTS \n$4500.00 \n\n\n\n\n$4\,500 (single occupancy) \n\n\nIf paid in full – discounted price of: $4\,050  \n\n\n\n\n$4\,250 (double occupancy) \n\n\nIf paid in full – discounted price of: $3\,825  \n\n\n\n\nA deposit of $1\,000 is due to secure your retreat experience. ​ \n\n\nThe remaining balance can be broken up into three (3) easy payments of:  \n\n\n$1\,200 (single occupancy)  \n\n\n$1\,085 (double occupancy)  \n\n\n\n\nWhat is this retreat about? \n \n\n\nHelping womxn learn how to be selfish with caring for themselves\, setting boundaries and learn to rest in our liberation work.  ​​​ \n\n\nWhat will I be doing in this retreat?  \n\n\nWe will be HEALING!
